Which are the best antivirus programmes for your computer?

and which ones have free trials...so you can try before buying it? my avg is due to expire in a few months and i was just wondering what else is there? ive only heard of avg and norton....thanks in advance x

Avg is free. When you mentioned yours would expire soon, just go to the AVG website and redownload the new free antivirus. It is cheap, and its just as good as Norton/McAfee.. in fact. I think its better, since Norton and Mcafee will always bug you with update alerts. Avg, you can update in your own time.

Avast! Anti-Virus Personal is 100% FREE and it's a very good program for anti-virus, install, and let go. It does everything itself, never bugs you. Ive worked on computers and built them since 2001 and this is all I use. Never had a virus after using this. Catches viruses and malware that Norton, McAfee, AVG, and even AntiVir doesn't catch.
