Nod32 voted the best AV 2006, use it my self, it is the first AV program I've ever run that did not slow down my PC, it has no bad points, Un-like Kaspersky which I used before - Kaspersky is a very good AV like Nod32 however it does have some bad points, it slowed down my PC %26 took up more hard drive than Nod32, At present these are the two best AV programs going, if I was not using Nod32 then I would go for Kaspersky, my third option would be to look at System mechanic 7 Pro - i've been told this comes with AV, Firewall %26 optimize your computer (been told the AV is Kaspersky but don't know if true).

Why don't you try a free trial of Kaspersky, then a free trial of Nod32 then a free trial of System mechanic 7 Pro %26 then make your own mind up.

I think you will end up with Nod32.

nod 32 is considered as a good antivirus software and has a lot of good reviews, though it does cut down on speeds.

Personally i prefer Kaspersky Antivirus it detects all kinds of virus effectively and the speed of your computer is not really effected.

I have used it for a few years now and it is the best antivirus by far
