There is avast it's free to download, they will send you an product key thru email after you download it and register it.
I would suggest an older version of Symantec's Norton Antivirus. Norton Antivirus 2004 worked just fine on a Windows 95.
for the free ones - AVG Free from grisoft.

Other ones - uphh .. Win98 is not supported any more, so I'd suggest upgrading to XP, don't forget to back up your files though, switching the file system can cause in losing EVERYTHING!! :-
