Norton better or AVG antivirus?

I had Norton for three months out of which for the earlier two it was updated..Last month used it for one more month without updation.Is it now, for me, better to have Norton or AVG free edition works fine?I am in an educational institute and use the LAN here which has its own firewall..These three months I had just to minor attacks( rouge toolbars which installed themselves on IE)..I don't generally go to fishy sites etc.just mail and general surfing.

Norton sucks so much, sucks up so many system resources.

if you dont want to try AVG, try out NOD32, its great as well.

Its true that Norton is sucks and use less making system's performance to slow and heavy the hdd u can download AVG its free what Grisoft do that it makes many category like free edition , professional one and enterprise addition u can download FE one

Norton can't cover it's own A$$....Trojan horses come right through the ports.
AVG is better than Norton....
