Where can I find antivirus I can use without having to buy the product?

I'm tired of antiviruses claiming to remove viruses with free scanning. They're more like scammers. The scanning is free, but not for the removing.

AVG is also good, but not quite so user friendly. http://www.grisoft.com

just go to AOl site, there on the bottom box click for free antivirus. only sign up free using ur email and they will give you the code in mail. download from the site and you will get i year subscription free. it is powered by famous Kapersky antivirus, and telling you its doing great job in my computer. it the best i have seen. gets updated every 2 to 3 hours.
