Regularity yes. If you bought a version for one computer only you must buy another one. If you bought a multi-account version there is no problem.

I heard the same one can be used for up to 3 computers, desktop and lap top shouldn't matter at all. There are much better programs out there for free in my opinion though.. such as Avast and Spysweeper... thats what I use.
I bought Norton a couple of years ago and it allowed me to install up to 6 computers. In theory, you can install on more, but it will not allow you to update the virus definitions on any more which is essential these days. The other thing to note is that when your 1 year's subscription runs out, you will need to pay for another years subscription for EACH computer.
I suspect the answer is yes. Check your license agreement, some agreements allow you to install a second copy on a laptop computer.
