I do not suggest that you get Webroot becuase it is an app that focuses more on there anti-spyware software.

You should get a Anti-virus Such as

Nod32 Kasperky

if you are looking for free stuff i suggest

Threatfire

Avast

great anti spy ware, decent anti virus
I used Webroot Spy Sweeper with AntiVirus a while ago when it was highly rated in many websites. I actually didn't like it because although the scans claim to be thorough, it shouldn't take almost 4 hours to do a small scan (not even full system scan) Unless it was just me. I also don't think AntiVirus with a product with only spyware removing was a good move either.

I use this same program.

it works well for me...however i dont really surf the web. I only go to specific websites that i trust, such as my bank, email, amazon, ect.

If you are more of a web surfer i would go with a different Antivirus program.
