Question about the antivirus software PC-cillin...?

I just bought Trend Micro's PC-cillin Internet Security software. And there is a place where it quarantines infected files. There is an option to delete them. Does that mean it deletes from the quarantine list, and lets them keep infecting, OR does it mean you delete them completely from you computer? HELP!

When you delete from quarantine, it permanently deletes the actual file, which is the best solution.

I always deleted them...sometimes it will give you a warning if you delete them...i never deleted those. they will stay quarantined..so, they wont effect your computer!

there should be a help desk to call...try them...or their website
Quarantined files are usually infected with some kind of virus or other bad thing. They are placed into a special holding area called quarantine. While in quarantine, they are not deleted, but they are also not able to be opened or run so that they cannot spread whatever nastiness they have to the rest of your system. If you cannot clean a file that is in quarantine, the best bet is to delete it. Its also a backup, I mean that if you have accidenly delete a file, you can always return the file to normal
