I run the spybot - search %26 destroy programme just now and this is what it says. Can someone help and tell what to do please?

Windows Security Center Antivirus Diseable Notify? Pls Help?internet security 2006

Is it warning you that it is disabled or does it want you to disable it?

Please clarify your question.

Some info below

why not try http://scanandfixerrors.blogsp... to help you Scan And Fix Errors In Windows Registry for you easily, i got some good resources from there..... Report It

You have your anti virus disabled! What anti virus do you have?

Activate it and windows will acknowledge when its on, it will be green for firewall, updates and anti virus.
This question does not compute, please restate question, and what does diseable mean?
It's telling you that Windows will not tell you that you have NO AntiVirus program running, the check has been disabled. This is very probably because you do have an AntiVirus Program running, and it has deliberately disabled the checks (5 of them).
Gis a clue babe

why if youre on Yahoo are you running any thing but Yahoo's own spy ware ?

at the top of page, in middle, yellow square with target in ,, OK ?
dont worry.when you use a anti-virus such as norton(and a few others)they configure windows in such a way that it disables settigs in security center in control panel

allthough this is a pain in the backside ,you still have full protection ,but windows dosent recognize it as its been done by a different anti-virus program

spybot recognizes it as a security threat and will enter it as a spyware, allthough it isnt, you may also get a disable notify for updates and firewall sometimes

to avoid this message its best to avoid so called paid for anti-virus packages such as norton, mcafee, and trend micro, and try something like avast(http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.ht... which is completely compatible with windows securty center and dosent disable any settings

good luck
